Jane Wolstencroft

General Notes
- On both her marriages, Jane records her father as George Wolstencroft, a cabinet maker. However there appears to be no such person and Jane may also have used the maiden name TOWNSON for two of her children. It could be she was illegitimate or adopted. All births (including both TOWNSON) were registered in Western Bolton.
  
  26 Oct 1846, Jane Wolstencroft married John Greenhalgh. Their marriage lasted 2 years before John died.
  
  24 Aug 1853, Jane Greenhalgh was a widow when she married Simon Mather, a weaver at St Peter's, Bolton. Her father was George Wolstencroft a cabinet maker.
