James Wilson

James was born in 1804 in Scotland.¹

Birth Notes
- Aged 54 in Feb 1858 when married
  Aged 57 in 1861, born Scotland
  
  Aged 64 in Q4 1866 when died (if Ormskirk death- tbc)

He died at the age of 62 in December 1866 in Ormskirk.²

- James died between 1861 and 1871, poissibly at North Meols, Southport where Betsy was in 1861 and 1871. However, deaths are only found for Manchester (where other family were):

- 10 Feb 1858 James Wilson (54) James Wilson, a commercial traveller and a widower from Liverpool, son of John Wilson, a Labourer married Elizabeth Mather (44, father John Mather, Mechanic) at Trinity Church Southport by Licence.
  
  In 1866, James died, aged 64

Occupation Details
- From before 1858 James' occupation was Commercial Traveller for Grocery Company, in Liverpool. He died in October 1866 while still employed there.

    - When wife Betsy died in 1881, James was recorded as a "Commercial Traveller (grocery)"
