Mary and Jonathan were married in a religious ceremony on October 15th, 1827 at St. Peter's (Bolton) by Vicar J Slade.4 They had five sons and four daughters, named William, John, Joseph, Benjamin, Levi, Hannah, Ellen, Mary and Sarah. There are no more children.
