Edmund Mather

Edmund was born about 1770 in Crawshawbooth.¹

- Edmund Mather of Lower Booths and Melicent Ashoworth of Newchurch were married in 1796

He died in March 1803 R Rossendale. His burial was on March 12th, 1803 in Haslingden.²³

- In Mar 1803, Edmund Mather (or Madder), Newhouse, Rossendale died and was buried as Haslingden. 4 days earlier, Betty, daughter of Abraham Mather of Newhouse was also buried.
  
  There was also an Edmund Mather (1796-1830) from Rossendale which is assumed to be his son, or this is simply another family from Rossendale (possibly a son of Robert from Brindle).
