31 July 1865, John Cunningham (30) son of Martin a Shoemaker married Bridget Martin (30) daughter of John Martin a farmer at Manchester Cathedral (i.e. after Elizabeth Maus and Henry were born). Both were living at Granby Row, Central Manchester.
Bridget had a sister Ann Martin who in 1871, lived with John as a housekeeper after Bridget died.

Bridget and John were married in a religious ceremony on July 31st, 1865 at Manchester Cathedral.2
