- Sarah Brereton widow of Richard Brereton left her estate to William Whilhingham Junior of Harthill, so possibly he is a son from a previous marriage.

Sarah was born in 1803 in Manchester.¹ She died at the age of 83 on May 2nd, 1886 in Harthill. Her burial was on May 5th, 1886 in Harthill.²³
