John was a Clothier from Armitage Fold. Martha and William were born at Armitage Fold. Mary, Elizabeth and Hannah are recorded as born Crosland, which may be the same place.
John has a brother Lawrence Kinder of Crosland, Clothier, who both had children baptised at Almondbury with abode Crosland. Joseph of Overthong may also have been a brother (TBC). Their father was probably Lawrence Kinder (1689-1746) of Almondbury.
