10 Apr 1748, John Hodgkinson of Warrington Parish and Elizabeth Mather of Billington in this Parisg were married by vthe curate Mr Edge.
From their marriage to 1756, John and Elizabeth lived at Newton-le-Willows. They then moved and had their children baptised at Warrington, later 1770 Great Sankey (for Thomas)
Later lived at Bank Quay (where several children died)
John and Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony on April 10th, 1748 at All Saints (Wigan). They had two sons and seven daughters, named Henry, Thomas, Hannah, Alice, Betty, Margaret, Mary, Peggy and Martha.
