Ruth was born in January 1839 in Westhoughton.  She died at the age of 75 on June 29th, 1914 in Bolton.1 


Ruth's family with John Lomax

‌Ruth and John were married in a religious ceremony in October 1860 at St. James (Breightmet).  They had a daughter named Betsy.  There are possibly more children.
