Headstone at Radcliffe reads: "To the memory of PETER MATHER who depareted this life at Glossop March 27th 1868, aged 70 years and was interred at Top Chappel, Charlesworth, Derbyshire. And of SARAH his wife who departed this life 4th April 1828, aged 26 Years and is interred here. Also of Mary their daughter, who departed this life April 23rd 1824, aged 9 months."
