General Notes
Ann cannot be John's daughter as he died in 1853. Ann is possibly the daighter of John's brother William Gregory who married Ellen Barker in 1853 at Dean. However, Ann is baptised daughter of Margaret spinster, so is the illegitimate daughter of Margaret after John died, perhaps by one of his brothers who she lived with in 1851.
1873 Ann Mather died at 71 John Street, Bolton aged 18 yrs. Wright Mather was also living here in 1891.
