  In 1877, John Entwistle married Eliza Jane Mather (just after their daughter Sarah Mather was born).
  
  In 1881, John and Eliza J Entwistle (30 & 26) were at 6 Halliwell Court, Halliwell with Sarah (2) and Elizabeth (1).
  
  In 1888 there were two other Mather+Entwistle marriages (John in Bolton and George at Walmsley).
  
  In 1891, John and Eliza J Entwistle (43 & 34) were at 3 Argyle Street, Sharples with Mary (7), Eliza (5) and Emily (4 mo).
  
  In 1901, John and Eliza J Entwistle (50 & 47) were living at 47 Broughton Street, Halliwell with daughter Sarah Mather (22), and Mary E and John Entwistle (16 & 8).
