James Crompton

  In 1851, James and Elizabeth Crompton were at 31 Nobel Street (same house and John and Ann Mather) with their 6 children.
  
  In 1871, James (56, Wid), was a Fustian Dyer with son Richard (26), John (22) and Mary (16), at 3 Crewe Place, Regent Road, Salford. It is not clear who "son" John is and perhaps it is Jane, or a son-in-law.
