Mary and James were married in a religious ceremony on March 30th, 1812 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Leigh) by Vicar Daniel Birkett and witnessed by Thomas Lees and Timothy Taylor.1 They had a son and a daughter, named John and Martha. There are no more children.
