Elmo Boushon, 81, of Bismarck, passed away Oct. 28, 2000, in Farmington. Mr. Boushon was born July 21, 1919, in Bismarck, son of the late Firmin and Ollie Imboden Boushon. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Alma Trauernicht Boushon; his sister, Lesta Imhoff and brother, Floyd Boushon.
Mr. Boushon was a life member of the Bismarck United Methodist Church; member of the Bismarck Masonic Lodge #41 A.F.& A.M.; member of the O.E.S. Sabylla Chapter #276; a life member of the Bismarck VFW Post #6947 and Disabled American Veterans.
He is survived by his sister, Islo Smith of Potosi; sister-in-law, Sophia O'Bryan of Farmington; one niece, Rita England (Bill) of Sarasota, FL; three nephews: Allan Smith (Peggy) of Arnold, Michael O'Bryan of Arcadia and Terry Trauernicht of St. Louis.
Visitation was held Sunday 5:30-9 p.m. at the Shipman Funeral Home. VFW services were held Sunday at 7 p.m. along with Masonic/Eastern Star services at 7:30 p.m. at the Shipman Chapel. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Bismarck United Methodist Church with Rev. Brad Dush officiating. Burial will be in the Bismarck Masonic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Bismarck United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
Alma Trauernicht
Alma was born on August 4th, 1910 in
Bismark, St. Francois County, Missouri. She died at the age of 79 on January 1st, 1990 in
Farmington, St. Francois County, Missouri. She was buried at the
Bismark Masonic Cemetery, Bismark, St. Francois County, Missouri.

Alma T. Bouchon [sic], 79, of Bismarck died Jan. 1 at Farmington Regional Medical Center. She was born Aug. 4, 1910 in Bismarck to the late Alfred and Olive Louise Leggett Trauernicht.
Mrs. Boushon was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Bismarck, a former school teacher at Bismarck and Leadwood, a beautician and taught Sunday school at St. John Lutheran Church for over 50 years.
She is survived by her husband, Elmo Boushon of Bismarck; two brothers: Charles Trauernicht of Farmington and Stanley Trauernicht of Sarasota, Fla.; one sister, Sophia O'Bryan of Arcadia; one aunt, one niece and two nephews.
Visitation begins today after 2 p.m. at Shipman Funeral Home in Bismarck. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Johns Lutheran Church with pastor Charles Dickinson officiating and assisted by Pastor Gerhardt J. C. Gerike. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery in Bismarck.
