Volke, known as Fannie, was born on November 4th, 1888 in Hanover Township, Gage County, Nebraska.1   She died at the age of 26 on January 4th, 1915 in Pickrell, Gage County, Nebraska.  She was buried in Pickrell, Gage County, Nebraska.1 1

Fannie and Hinrich were married in a religious ceremony on June 6th, 1909 in Pickrell, Gage County, Nebraska.1   They had three sons named John, Claus and Martin.
