Katrina was born on September 20th, 1852 in Hannover, Germany.  She died at the age of 89 on July 18th, 1942 in Chester, Thayer County, Nebraska.  She was buried at the Saint Johns Cemetery, Chester, Thayer County, Nebraska.1

Katrina and Peter were married in a religious ceremony on July 20th, 1872 in Nemaha County, Nebraska.  They had two sons and six daughters, named Tom, John, Nantke, Gretji, Dora, Anna, Minna and Sadie.
