  • LaVerne H. Williams, age 89 of Wahoo, died Monday, June 11, 2007 in Lincoln.
    
    She was born at Wymore, NE on July 19, 1917 to John and Margaret (Gerdes) Trauernicht. She grew up on a farm near Wymore and attended school there. On March 25, 1960, LaVerna married Clyde Williams. After moving to Wahoo, LaVerne worked as a sales clerk at both Safeway and Hinky Dinky stores. In later years, she served as a Senior Companion providing rides for other seniors to various appointments and on shopping excursions.
    
    LaVerne was preceded in death by her husband Clyde, daughter Barb Williams, son Larry Williams, granddaughter Katelyn Wohl, and two sisters.
    
    She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law John and Arletta Williams of Crete; daughter and son-in-law Evelyn and Mel Groene of Fremont; sister Arlene Saathoff of Marysville, KS; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
    
    Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 14 at Pruss-Nabity Funeral Home. Casket Bearers will be Terry Etherington, Tracy Etherington, Tim Etherington, Chris Williams, Joshua Wohl, and Jacob Wohl. Serving as Honorary Casket Bearers will be Terran Etherington, James Fauver, Rex Kumpula, and Max Anderson. Visitation will be held Wednesday, 2 until 7 p.m. Interment will be at Sunrise Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Familyís Choice.
    

 Dorothy Marie Trauernicht
Dorothy was born on October 14th, 1922 in Barneston, Gage County, Nebraska.  She died at the age of 70 in 1992.

 Verda Marguerite Trauernicht
Verda was born on July 14th, 1925 in Barneston, Gage County, Nebraska and her baptism took place on October 18th, 1925 in Spring Valley, Barnston, Gage County, Nebraska.²   She died at the age of 81 on July 31st, 2006 in Wymore, Gage County, Nebraska.  The funeral took place on August 2nd, 2006 at St. John Lutheran Church, Beatrice, Gage County, Nebraska.  She was buried on August 2nd, 2006 at the Evergreen Home Cemetery, Beatrice, Gage County, Nebraska.^2 2

John was born on January 10th, 1928 in Wymore, Gage County, Nebraska.  He died at just 10 days old on January 20th, 1928 in Wymore, Gage County, Nebraska.
