Philippa's father was Edmund Mortimer and her mother was Philippa of_Ulster.  Her paternal grandfather was Roger Mortimer; her maternal grandparents were Lionel of_Antwerp and Elizabeth de_Burgh.  She was the youngest of four children.  She had two brothers and a sister, named Roger, Edmund and Elizabeth.  She died in 1401.
