Louis_XVI was born on August 23rd, 1754 in Versailles,France.  Louis_XVI's father was Louis and his mother was Marie-Josephe de_Saxe.  His paternal grandparents were Louis_XV and Maria of_Poland Leczinska.  He was the oldest of four children.  He had two brothers and a sister, named Louis_XVIII, Charles_X and Elizabeth.  He died at the age of 38 on January 21st, 1793 in Paris,France.  His burial was in 1815 in St Denis,France.
