John of_Eltham was born on August 15th, 1316 in Eltham Palace,Kent.  John of_Eltham's father was Edward_II and his mother was Isabella of_France.  His paternal grandparents were Edward_I (Longshanks) and Eleanor of_Castile; his maternal grandparents were Philip_IV the_Fair and Joan of_Navarre.  He was the second of four children.  He had a brother and two sisters, named Edward_III, Eleanor and Joan of_the_Tower.  He died at the age of 20 on September 14th, 1336 in Perth.
