David_II was born in 1329.  David_II's father was Robert_I Bruce and his mother was Elizabeth de_Burgh.  His paternal grandparents were Robert Bruce and Margaret of_Carrick; his maternal grandparents were Richard de_Burgh and Unknown.  He had a half-sister named Margery.  He died at the age of 42 in 1371.
