Jane was born in 1811 in Warsally, Suffolk, England.

Jane and Thomas were married in a religious ceremony on February 22nd, 1832 in Hordley, Ellesmere, Shropshire, England.1   They had two sons and two daughters, named John, Stephen, Emma and Eleanor.
