Census of 1930, New York, Wayne, Ontario, district 29 has age 45, widow, married at age 26, owner of a house
valued at $7500, owner of a radio, able to read and write, born in New York, both parents born in New York,
manager of a canning factory as its owner. (The o for owner was later crossed out and changed to w for worker. It
must have been too much for someone to accept that a women could own a manufacturing plant.)
Helen Augusta and Edward James were married in a religious ceremony on March 4th, 1911 in New Jersey. They had three sons named Donald Edward, Edward J. and Robert E..
