He graduated at Richmond High in Richmond Indiana. He was a lieutenant in the
Army and served in WW2 in Italy and Africa and earned the Silver Star, Bronze

in Illinois. John was my (Joe Kenny's) brother in law and good friend. When
he lived her in Omaha, we would play pool on a weekly basis with Mino St.
Lukas, which was my fathers law partner. Fortunately, I had the chance to go to
Prague in the December before his death. I saw that John was failing when I was
there, but didn't think he was so close to death. We played a lot of Gin Rummy
and had a good time for the few days that I spent there.
John was cremated on Feb. 12th, 1996 and a small service was held at the
Catholic Church in Prague. He had a full military burial at Arlington Cemetery
on the 23rd of Feb.
John and Anne-Marie had no children
