Matias Silveira was born on July 17th, 1747 in Castelo Branco, Horta, ilha do Faial, Açores - PORTUGAL and his baptism took place in July 1747 in Igreja Paroquial de Santa Catarina. He died at the age of 55 on April 21st, 1803 in Castelo Branco, Horta, ilha do Faial, Açores - PORTUGAL. He was buried on April 22nd, 1803 in Igreja Paroquial de Santa Catarina.General Notes
OBS: Recebeu todos os divinos sacramentos e não deixou testamento por ser pobre. Levou o hábito de picote da Confraria das Almas e foi acompanhado com o Colégio e Cruzes. Foram-lhe arbitradas por sua alma 3 missas, pelas quais ficou responsável a mulher. Morreu com 55 anos de idade e não 60 como refere o padre. NOTA: Por morte do pai, o Matias, conjuntamente com o irmão José, ficaram obrigados a mandar celebrar por sua alma 15 missas rezadas.
