Manuel Dutra was born on May 26th, 1771 in Castelo Branco, ilha do Faial, Açores - PORTUGAL and his baptism took place in 1771 in Igreja Paroquial de Santa Catarina. He died at the age of 62 on May 8th, 1834 in Castelo Branco, ilha do Faial, Açores - PORTUGAL. He was buried on May 9th, 1834 in Adro da Igreja Paroquial de Santa Catarina.General Notes
OBS: Recebeu todos os divinos sacramentos e deixou testamento aberto, deixando por testamenteiros a mulher e em 2º. lugar o filho José. Levou o hábito de picote da Confraria das Almas e foi acompanhado pela Irmandade desta Confraria e com o Colégio. Morreu com 62 anos de idade e não 67 como refere o padre. NOTA: O Manuel por morte do sogro foi nomeado seu testamenteiro. E o facto do Francisco ser o 1º. a ser sepultado no adro da igreja tem a ver com o grande nº. de óbitos ocorridos nos 2 últimos anos, o que já havia acontecido em 1705.
