Manoel Silveira de was born on April 13th, 1756 in Castelo Branco, Horta, ilha do Faial, Açores - PORTUGAL and his baptism took place in April 1756 in Igreja Paroquial de Santa Catarina. He died at the age of 75 on November 10th, 1831 in Castelo Branco, Horta, ilha do Faial, Açores - PORTUGAL. He was buried on November 11th, 1831 in Igreja Paroquial de Santa Catarina.General Notes
OBS: Recebeu todos os divinos sacramentos e deixou testamento. Levou o hábito de sayal de São Francisco e foi acompanhado pelas Irmandades do Santíssimo e das Almas,e com o Colégio.Nomeou seus testamenteiros o cunhado José Francisco de Serpa, vigário da Praia e em 2º.lugar o seu filho Capitão António Silveira Bettencourt. Morreu com 75 anos de idade e não 76 como refere o padre. NOTA: O Manuel foi 2º.de nome e teve uma escrava de nome Delfina, nascida em Castelo Branco.
