Dear Mr Bishop
We have now been able to look into your enquiry for you.
Kenneth Huxtable qualified with the LDS (Licence in Dental Surgery) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1924. He first registered on 24th July 1924 and first appears in the 1925 register. He gave his addresses in the registers as follows
1925 - 1927 155 Cheltenham Road, Bristol
1928 – 1934 2 City Road, Winchester
1935 not registered
1936 – 1954 1 The Bridge, Newbury
1955 – 1969 The Chantry, West Mills, Newbury, Berks
Last registered 1969
We do not know why he wasn’t registered in 1935. The address he gave could have been either his home or his practice address – or of course this could have been one and the same.
There was also a Melvard Huxtable at the Bristol address.
William Bertram Wallace Greig qualified LDS RCS Eng in 1942 and registered on 13th November 1942. He gave his addresses as follows
1943 – 1946 74 Empire Court, Wembley Park, Middlesex
1947 – 1948 8 Upper Wimpole Street, London, W1
1949 – 1954 86 Brook Street, London, W1
1955 – 1978 100 Harley Street, London, W1
1979 – 1981 30 St. Albans Avenue, Weybridge, Surrey, KT13 8EN
1982 – 1999 11 Church Street, Merriott, Crewkerne, Somerset, TA16 5PS
Last registered 1999
I hope this has been of some help
Regards
Melanie
