Margaret was born in 1925.  Margaret's father was John 'Jock' Bremner and her mother was Mary MacKay.  Her maternal grandparents were John MacKay and Isabella Mowat.  She had two brothers and a sister, named Alexander, John and Isabella.  She is the third oldest of the four children.
