Pál was born on July 20th, 1855 in Répcekőhalom.1   Pál's father was Pichler János and his mother was Nestlang Terézia.  His paternal grandparents were Pichler Pál and Holzapfel Erzsébet; his maternal grandparents were Nestlang János and Tieber Terézia. He had four brothers and four sisters, named József, János, György, Ferenc, Mária, Terézia, Terézia and Julianna.  He was the seventh oldest of the nine children.  He died at 7 months old on February 25th, 1856 in Répcekőhalom.  The funeral took place on February 27th, 1856.1
