János was born on January 18th, 1829 in Répcekőhalom.1   János' father was Nestlang János and his mother was Tieber Terézia. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Antal, Alajos, Antal, Terézia, Barbara, Anna, Mária, Julianna and Katalin.  He was the second oldest of the ten children.  He died  due to tüdőgyulladás at the age of 68 on July 28th, 1897 in Répcekőhalom.2
