Ilona was born on February 21st, 1782 in Vedrődújfalu (Cífer).1   Her godfather was Sutovszky Márton and her godmother was Ilona.  Ilona's father was Peskó Péter and her mother was ?Banicsény? Katalin.  Her paternal grandfather was Peskó János and her paternal grandmother is Mária. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Márton, János, József, Anna and Mária.  She was the oldest of the six children.
