Benkovszky Pál

Pál was born on January 24th, 1744 in Vedrődújfalu (Cífer).¹ His godfather was Kovacsocki Tamás úr and his godmother was Anna. Pál's father was Benkovszky Ádám and his mother was Bozik Ilona. His paternal grandparents are Benkovszky Jakab and Mária; his maternal grandparents were Bozik Mihály and Dorottya. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Mihály, Péter, János, Mária, Anna, Katalin, Erzsébet, Ilona and Dorottya. He was the sixth oldest of the ten known children.
