Evert was born in 1766 in Tuil and his baptism took place there on November 23rd, 1766.1  Evert's father was Christoffel den Drijver and his mother was Neeltje van den Anker.  His paternal grandparents were Evert Janszn den Drijver and Susanna van Tongeren; his maternal grandparents were Gerrit van den Anker and Maria van den Boogert. He had six brothers and a sister, named Willem, Jan, Jan, Marinus, Willem, Christoffel Christoffelszn and Susanna Johanna.  He was the second oldest of the eight children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Evert and Neeske.  He died at the age of 87 on March 16th, 1853 in Tuil.1
