Gerritje Dirksdr was born in May 1793 in Nijkerk and her baptism took place there on May 5th, 1793.1  Gerritje Dirksdr's father was Dirk Rengersen and her mother was Elisabeth Theunisdr van de Geest.  Her paternal grandparents were Arend Rengersen and Grietje Aartsdr Martenszn N.N.. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Teunis, Jan Dirkszn Rengersen, Jannetje, Maria Dirksdr and Aaltje Dirksdr.  She was the second oldest of the six children. She had five half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Rik, Renger, Hendrik, Rijkend, Renger Dirkszn, Maartje Dirksdr and Rikje.  She died at the age of 61 on May 19th, 1854 in Nijkerk.2
