Hendrick Craij

Hendrick's father was Jan Gijsbertszn Craij and his mother was Maijke Hendriksdr de Wijs. His paternal grandparents were Gijsbert Adriaenszn Craij and Willemke Jordensdr N.N.; his maternal grandparents were Henrick Geritszn de Wijs and Ariken Jansdr N.N.. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Arie, Huijbert Janszn, Gysbert, Areke and Lijsbeth. He was the oldest of the six children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Adrianus, Maijke and Mariken. He died at the age of 51 in 1685 in Well.¹
