Maria Adamsdr was born in 1678 in 's Gravenmoer and her baptism took place there on September 11th, 1678.1  Maria Adamsdr's father was Adam Anthoniszn Canters and her mother was Maria Gijsbertsdr Cuyper.  Her paternal grandparents were Anthonis Adriaenszn Canters and Stijntken Augustijnszn Verhagen; her maternal grandparents were Gijsbert Cuyper and N.N. N.N.. She had nine brothers and two sisters, named Laurens Adamszn, Gijsbrecht Adamszn, Antonij Adamszn, Pieter Adamszn, Adriaen Adamszn, Arnoldus Adamszn, Augustinus Adamszn, Johannes Adamszn, Cornelis Adamszn, Jacomijna Adamsdr and Anna Adamsdr.  She was the fifth oldest of the twelve children.  She died at the age of 52 on August 30th, 1730 in 's Gravenmoer.1
