Anna Adamsdr was born in 1694 in 's Gravenmoer and her baptism took place there on April 9th, 1694.1  Anna Adamsdr's father was Adam Anthoniszn Canters and her mother was Maria Gijsbertsdr Cuyper.  Her paternal grandparents were Anthonis Adriaenszn Canters and Stijntken Augustijnszn Verhagen; her maternal grandparents were Gijsbert Cuyper and N.N. N.N.. She had nine brothers and two sisters, named Laurens Adamszn, Gijsbrecht Adamszn, Antonij Adamszn, Pieter Adamszn, Adriaen Adamszn, Arnoldus Adamszn, Augustinus Adamszn, Johannes Adamszn, Cornelis Adamszn, Jacomijna Adamsdr and Maria Adamsdr.  She was the youngest of the twelve children.
