Harmintje was born in May 1803 and her baptism took place on May 1st, 1803 in Harderwijk.1  Harmintje's father was Gerrit Jan van Buuren and her mother was Dirkje Numan.  Her paternal grandparents were Harmen Buijrink and Adriana Scholten; her maternal grandparents were Johannes Nemans and Dina Albertsdr N.N.. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Albert, Dirk Jan, Geertje and Berentje.  She was the third oldest of the five children.  She died at the age of 78 on February 20th, 1882 in Harderwijk.2
