Steven was born in 1685 and his baptism took place on March 8th, 1685 in Haaften conducted by Reverend Cornelius Glummerus.1   His godmother was Eghtie Aellerszn. Steven's father is Alert Stevenszn Blomhert and his mother is N.N. N.N..  His paternal grandparents were Steven Alertszn Blomhert and Jenneken Huijbertsdr. He had three sisters named Jenneken, Beerentie and Heesken.  He was the third oldest of the four children.  Steven is no longer alive.
