Otto Janszn was born in 1658 in Haaften and his baptism took place there on August 29th, 1658.1  Otto Janszn's father is Jan Egbertszn Blomhert and his mother is Weijntken Cornelisdr N.N..  His paternal grandparents were Egbert Janszn Blomhert and Heesken Gomperts N.N.. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Egbert Janszn, Egbert Janszn, Cornelis Janszn, Cornelis Janszn, Grietie Jansdr and Hesken Jansdr.  He is the sixth oldest of the seven children.
