Heesken was born in 1731 and her baptism took place on December 16th, 1731 in Haaften.1   Her godmother was/is Maria Stevensdr. Heesken's father was Steven Gompertszn Blomhert and her mother is Dirkske Otten Swakhuijs.  Her paternal grandparents were Gompert Egbertszn Blomhert and Maria Koenen. She has six brothers and six sisters, named Gompert, Ot, Ott, Egbert, Jan, Willem, Ruttje, Mariken, Ruttie, Neeltjen, Willemke and Heesken.  She is the youngest of the thirteen children.
