Leendert was born in 1692 in Loon op Zand and his baptism took place there on October 26th, 1692.1  Leendert's father was Hendrik Corneliszn de Bie and his mother was Beatrix Lenders.  His paternal grandparents were Cornelis de Bie and N.N. N.N.. He had five brothers and a sister, and also two siblings of unknown gender, named Hendrik Hendrikszn, Leendert, Wouter, Willem, Cornelis, Cornelia, N.N. and N.N..  He died at the age of 70 on June 30th, 1762 in Loon op Zand.2
