Jan was born in 1643 in Nieuwaal and his baptism took place on August 6th, 1643 in Haaften.1   His godmother was Met Jans. Jan's father is Aart Janszn Aldens and his mother was N.N. N.N..  His paternal grandparents were Jan Aldens and N.N. N.N.. He had two brothers and a sister, named Jan, Jan and Jantken.  He was the youngest of the four children.  Jan is no longer alive.
