Sacarlal's father is Maganlal Kanji and his mother is Sivkor Narotam.  His paternal grandparents were Kanji Valabh and Godavri; his maternal grandparents are Narotam Mulgi and <Unknown>. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Nagardas, Jassvantrai, Hasmukhrai, Vassantlal, Harkisandas, Dinesh, Bhadracim and Radhagauri.  He was the third oldest of the nine children.  He died on December 30th, 2002.
