    not with his wife. Bootmaker, Boarder at this address. Birth certificate obtained. 1842 born at 32 Coleharbor Street Marriage certificate obtained. He was either 17 or 27 when he married Mary Oblein in 1869 so either born in 1852 or 1842. 1881 census gives his age as 38 , so born in 1843 1871 census also gives his age as 39! (these are definitely the same person, as both at Baxendale Street). 1901 census, he gives his age as 58. However in 1871 his 16 year old son was living with them, so I suspect he is actually born in 1832. This 16 year old son however was possibly 16 months old as this would conincide with a baptism certificate.
