María  Elena was born on Junio 12th, 1941.  María  Elena's father was Juan Carlos Rodriguez and her mother is Odilia Leonor Lugon Fiant.  Her maternal grandparents were  Máximo Lugon Seppey and  María Crescencia Fiant Imhoff.  She is the second of four children.  She has two brothers and a sister, named Rubén Rogelio, Juan Carlos and Odila Aurora.
