Moira was born on August 17th, 1939.  Moira's father was John THOMAS Connor and her mother was Ethel Nicholls.  Her paternal grandparents were Jack Connor and Lucy Fagan; her maternal grandparents were Tom Nicholls and Ethel Unsworth. She had two brothers named Graham and Maurice.  She is the youngest of the three children.

Moira and Douglas were married in a religious ceremony on March 31st, 1973.
