George James Empy

  • Anyway it looks like Gertrude M Empy (nee Bull),dies very young in 1926 age 33  (death reg Romford).Which always get's me wondering  "HOW",drives me a bit mad not knowing the answer.
    I don't think i gave you her husbands George's d.o.b, according to his army record about 1883.I did find a death for a George J Empy 1929 Romford age 45,which means 1884 ( young again).
    
    Their son George Jacob James marries a Beatrice M Crosier Ilford 1940.It looks like he was living 134 Barley Lane late 50's and running a pluming business. They then come up again death Warwickshire 2005 for Beatrice and George Empy.(In between i think they spend some time in West Mersea)
    
    Gertie and George,have at least one other child Edward R Empty born 1920 reg Romford. It looks to me that Edward dies age about 3,but the death is reg Whitechapel ( so strange).
    

• General Notes
  • Gertrude Matilda Bull Jacob's youngest child. She married George James Empy 20 April 1915,according to his army record at Great Ilford. His army record also shows they had a son George Jacob James Empy born 25-Aug- 1916 Romford.
    
    He joined the reserve's 12-12-1915,mobilized 1917 Reg number 303076.The record shows that in December 1915 they are living at 44 Stanley Ave Ilford.
